Bishop T.D. Jakes' Daughter Gets Married

Cora Jakes, the daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes got married to Richard Coleman last Saturday, June 4, 2011. Cora is the eldest daughter of T.D. Jakes and Serita Jakes. The wedding took place at the home of the Bishop and his wife and was attended by 150 friends and family.

Essence reports that Bishop Jakes walked his daughter down the aisle and officiated the ceremony. The theme of the day was a peaches and cream "Southern Affair."

The Jakes' beautiful family estate was transformed into a southern garden, complete with breathtaking floral arrangements, romantic columns, and a string quartet. Honoring her family, Cora chose those colors because they were used at her parents' ceremony 30 years ago. Cora arrived to her dream wedding in a vintage Rolls Royce wearing an ivory strapless gown designed by Mori Lee and crystal-encrusted suede Christian Louboutins.
